Procedure
Involve the condensation reaction 2-fold excess of amino derivative with respect to BTDA in polar aprotic solvent DMF (20 ml)
Reflux the reaction mixture for 5 hours
Monitor the progress of the reaction by TLC (MeOH:CHCl3, 1:1, v/v)
Cool the reaction mixture and precipitate in DI water three times
Freeze-dry than put in 100°C vaccum oven
